My name’s Miko and I’m from Orland Park, Illinois. In 2020, I entered the workforce as a biomedical engineer. After two years of working in this field, I realized I needed to make a change.
In 2022, I decided to pivot into web design and web development because it highlighted my skills for problem solving but with a clearer focus in design thinking. Taking the leap to transform into a web designer and developer gave me a better understanding of myself and the work I want to put out into the world.
I grew up playing Pokemon and one of my favorite characters is Ditto, Number 132. The inspiration for No. 132 pays homage to the character Ditto as its powers of shapeshifting apply to how I view my transformation into the field of web design and development.
As a child, I played several kinds of video games. After growing older, I learned about animations and ever since then, I've been so fascinated by how even some games create smooth animation with art that is composed of color squares through key frames.
